A Value-Driven Escape in Hanmer SpringsDuring our recent family getaway to Hanmer Springs, we found ourselves at the Forest Camp, a choice that exemplified both value and decent accommodations. For just $75, we had a four-bunk room that included complimentary Wi-Fi, linens, and towels, which was practical for our spontaneous trip. While the room itself was basic and the mattress on the thin side, the shared amenities, including clean and warm bathrooms, offered a satisfactory experience overall. The shared kitchen, complete with essential cookware and an electric kettle, allowed us to prepare meals, enhancing our stay. With a children's play area and access to beautiful walking trails nearby, this hotel serves as an economical option for families seeking adventure. The scenery and friendly staff contributed to an enjoyable, if not luxurious, family retreat.
